im running 2.3/4" pipe on mine, extractors 6-2 straight thru, i found if u drill a 1/4" hole bout 6"- 1' back from ur exhausttips u get a bigger rumble when its idling. just thought id let u know

burning old oil from years of storage... BULLSHIT!!! if the combustion chamber was half full of oil in every cylinder, it would take light 5 minutes to burn it all out. and i highly dought that was your first start up in however many years. but if it was, then ur a dumbass for reving it that high.. p.s. replace your piston rings
Love it, bro. If you keep the body like that, but put on all the lights and seal it up, then slap on some stock wheels and good tires (like BF Goodrich cheater slicks) then you can rat rod it until you get the cash to do all the paint and body work. For the time being, it's a wicked-sounding ride!

it was the first start in quite a long time, and the first time it'd been properly warmed up and revved since being stored for years.
You can doubt it all you like, but I was there :P

it's a straight pipe with a 2.5" resonator at the back.

They go good with a set of triple DCOE carbs.
I saw a rallycross version once, wickedly fast, a handfull to drive, marvelous!!
