I am sure a large majority of us truly has a passion for Christ and will enjoy the majesty of being in God's presence one day together, but the Bible is self-authenticating and should be read and understood as a whole and from a redemptive historical perspective, not simply concentrating on a few verses in Ezekiel or Acts. If someone is promoting a gospel contrary to one that places God and His sovereignty as the center piece, then it is our job as Christians to rebuke them in love.
I'm surprised the WHI gang hasn't mentioned anything about Marjoe Gortner. There's a shocking story to say the least, and a perfect example of how this sensationalism has numbed the church's discernment and how very crafty people can use such a situation to their advantage.
how sad your alls lives must be to have nothing to do but to criticize those who do the work! just because you can youtube doesn't mean you have anything to say
So you define Pharisees as believers who judge things righteously as to where the Bible defines them as unbelievers in Jesus Christ who give you works to do to earn your righteousness that they don't do themselves. ...Interesting.
The editing isn't the issue; the content is. Hypocrites use the same mentality as you: "As long as the outside of the cup looks well, who cares about the inside?" Believers in Jesus the Christ don't rationalize like that.
@LaneCh then how do you explain davids sins? How do you explain Peter's sins? How do you explain Mark's sin? If you judge a preacher or servant of God by their mistakes or bad choices, then where will YOU stand when others judge you by your failures? Or are you above sin and reproach?
You white horse Inn dudes need to stop denying the Azusa Street outpouring and start denouncing the coming apostasy of the Elijah Listers. Cyndy Jacobs Rick Joyner Bob Jones are ushering in the end time delusion.
Get with it -- so what if Aimee got theatrical? Evangelism and acting are part of the same gifting.
At least she did not stray from the Word. She may have fallen in to sin for a time, but she was His.
Really go after the Joyner freaks. That's where the real brewing trouble is.
This one has to be the worst one (0:00-1:33). That had NOTHING to with Christ; I still fail to see where the man beating up the guy gave any spiritual enlightment towards the listeners. When my family saw the video, they didn't even know i was watching a church service! This looks like something you would find in a comedy-theater facility. How sad.

Aimee was a sort of precursor to the Paula White's and Benny Hinn's of today.

And as much of a greedy, vain con artist as either of them!

She is reminiscent of a carnival worker calling passers by to come try one of the midway games. "Step right up"
