Since you're a driver, you think its safe that you have children driving mowers over there? Is it safe to have drivers off of their mowers when the derby is going on? Yes our bars protect our engines. #1 we don't want a severed fuel line, flaming up in someones face. #2 We like to keep our mower counts up and not ruining engines, keeps mowers coming back.

And all the common sense in the world doesn't prevent accidents. Our drivers safety is priority #1

We just had our first derby of the season and we had plenty of things break. Tires pop.....tie rods bend/break.......hell we had the entire front end break off of the 3rd place mower yesterday. You may think that our show is just welded up mowers playing bumper cars, but we put on a good show, and we have plenty of breaks. We've never had heat last over 15 minutes.

Also, congrats to your little girl. But I too have a little girl, and I know that I would never be able to live with myself if she was burned on an exhaust pipe, or if the mower tipped over on top of her. Gasoline, sharp metal, hot parts, and crashing mowers is no place for a little kid. Just my 2 cents

You rote (Is it safe to have drivers off of their mowers when the derby is going on?) I say No its not thats why we stop the dreby it if you get off your mower or if your out

I just saw in your new mower video a GIRL got off her mower and you guys never stop the derby & their was a mower coming right at her

I was referring to the derby video you have , in which one of your drivers was off of his mower, working on it while everything was going on.

And as for the GIRL getting off of her mower, this video was clearly sped up quite a bit. In real time, she was very close to the edge of the arena, and she had plenty of time to get off the track

The way that you run your shows, and that way that we run our shows, it totally different. We actually try to keep our drivers safe. Plus we have insurance on our shows. Can't wait until somone gets hurt over there, and your group winds up with a big fat lawsuit.
