I really enjoyed this movie as much as the x-men series. My only complaint is it could have been longer. I found we were introduced to characters and then it moved on so fast. I do not read the comics but I enjoyed the movies so the fast pace was not in-depth enough for me. Hugh Jackman and Liev Schrieber were definitely the heart of the film.

however one feels about the turnout of the film, i think hearing this from the director helps us get a more complete viewpoint. whatever one's opinion, it takes guts for a non-comic fan to wade through the unending titles and, like he said, just "pick" what he felt was most workable. i think that little deciding leap right there, of is he a fan, and is he good at what he does, decides a lot about the film.

Wolverine was an ok movie to many plot holes for my likeing though. the lab scene looked nothing like Bryan Singers version from 1 and 2. and according to this film Logan got his metal bones in two diferent rooms jeez. Wolverine is a good stand alone film but as a prequell to Singers it fails on so many levels.

@KaraLVRogueLZ The Weapon X Scenes DIDN`T look like they did in The Singer Films for 2 Reasons :

1 . Logan was implanted with FALSE Memories to CONFUSE him incase his REAL Memories EVER came back and to protect The Identities of The Weapon X Personnel responsible ! It WASN`T JUST Stryker ! And yes , The Adamantium was injected into his Bloodstream in ONE Room & bonded to his Skeleton in ANOTHER ! That`s how it`s ALWAYS BEEN IN The Comics !

@KaraLVRogueLZ 2 . Logan`s perspective on The Adamantium-Bonding HAD CHANGED from " Origins " to " X-Men " ! In " Origins " , it was just business to get revenge on Victor for Kayla`s apparent murder ! By " X-Men " , due to The Adamantium Bullet he NO LONGER REMEMBERED Kayla NOR Victor outside his " Sabretooth " Persona so he now saw it as in The Comics and Cartoons as this terrible thing that was done to him !

@KaraLVRogueLZ In The Comics , there were MULTIPLE Weapon X Facilities ALL OVER THE WORLD ! Why should The Films be any different ?!?!? Also in " Origins " , Logan blows up One Facility , Stryker likely moved to The Alkali Lake Facility sometime between " Origins " and " X2 " !

@1993MovieMan ok explain this if stryker moves around like you say how come the lab Logan finds in x-2 has his claw mark in the wall if he did not get his metal bones there. i understand what your saying but your logic in my view is flawed. in origins weapon x did not erase his memorys the bullets did or whatever. i like singers take darker gritter horific. Hoods version was to kiddy in my opion.

@KaraLVRogueLZ I noted The Adamantium Bullet and it`s likely that Stryker took Logan to The Alkali Lake Facility for The Majority of The Brainwashing and Sadistic " Tests " we know of from " X2 " and " X-Men : The Official Game " ! The Claw Mark is likely from when Logan finally got sick of it all and escaped !

I thought this movie was good. I mean im not a big Wolverine fan but im a big fan of Gambit. I felt this was a good way to introduce him. But I wish he has a bigger part next time.

Wolverine...the hardest backstory to retell EVER. @_@ The movie was ok. They took some stupid turns with it and don't establish some things for people unfamilar with him comic bookly. But all an all it was a decent attempt. I will probably buy it when it comes out. I love what I refer to as "Lumberjack Logan". lol

I've never read an x-men comic but from what I've seen on the web, nobody gives a shit about the bone claws. It's the inconsistencies with the previous films & the treatment of Deadpool that has pissed fans off. But who cares right; it's got splosions aplenty & will make Fox loadsa money, and that's what matters right? Hollywood moguls shouldn't have to tighten their belts, only us proletarian sheep.
