So many comments here about the size of Bubbles. People, please realize, little cute baby chimps do not stay small. They grow into large, extremely strong, very complex animals that have NO business being pets, period.

I worked at this sanctuary. I got to know Bubbles. He's really a very sweet character, sort of a gentle giant, but even still he, like all chimps, can be unpredictable, but the sanctuary does a wonderful job of a providing long lasting, positive environment for these animals

@PkzMoonWalker he might not have had any choice about sending Bubbles to the sanctuary but Michael certainly had a choice about visiting Bubbles there and he never did go see him. So that just shows that Michael did not love Bubbles. Too many people have baby chimps for pets while the chimps are babies and then just throw them away to medical labs for experiments or if the chimp is lucky, they are given to a sanctuary.
