The only similarity is the subject matter, which has nothing to do with the creativity and skill of writing the actual jokes. CK has a reputation for being incredibly productive- most comedians modify the same material for years, he creates two brand new hour long shows a year! Calling CK derivative is like calling Dane Cook clever.
