i do find it quite sad/offensive when they don't always find a girl of the right ethnicity to play a certain princess, after all they are all different so that young girls can relate to them :/ You wouldn't have a black actress playing cinderella so why is it fine for a white actress to play a native American? despite this, her voice is beautiful.

I was in Disney a couple of years back and went to watch this show. When this lady started singing I just froze and the hair stood up on the back of my neck. My god I said to myself she is Fantastic The voice of an Angel and the beauty to match.

She does a great job singing and isn't talent good enough? Its true that it would be great if the character did look like its animated counterpart, but it doesn't always have to be that way because of simple ignorance. Talent should always be a factor, would you rather listen to someone who looked like Belle and acting like Belle but CANNOT sing worth a note?? Noone would want to see that, they want to see the similarity as well as Talent and if you can't get both, you'd rather get the Talent.

First and foremost. All of you people out there who don't think that shes "dark enough" to be Pocahontas have obviously never seen a real Native American Indian. Secondly, are you serious? Do you really think think that the mouse in the theme park is a mouse. They're actors. Get over it. Get out of the house. Get a job.
