This looks like abreojos. I don't know if it is, but when i went, the waves looked just like this, but the water was freezing in june and the reef/rock was super sharp. It was an awesome wave though and i'd love to go back again.

You must be there on August for the Hurricane Season, you will love the water is around 72, and since there are hurricanes south of it... well you do the math. I'm Sal by the way, used to live there.

Sick video. Given the wave and a few landmarks, I know this place... I surfed it good in July a few years back. How are you surfing in just a wetsuit top? The water was freezing when I was there -- I wore a fullsuit and booties and it was still chilly!

all I know is that if you surf at the end of July, the water is warm, some times up to 74, plus if it is around the last week of the month there is no locals, and very few surfers, it is cold from Feb to mid july and the wind... like I was saying it is great weather from August 'till Jan.

First of all, thank you for the memories. this is one of the best places I ever surfed, too bad that there is no footage of the other break, a couple of hundred yards away.
