I love the books by Cornelia Funke.. she's really amazing! *__* And Staubfinger (Dustfinger) has always been my fav character from Tintenherz (Inkheart) I'm really in love with him in the movie :D Paul Bettany is sooo damn hot! ;D What I've found: Great German books which are also successfully in America are always filmed there. Just finally watched the movie for the first time this weekend. Amazing! I think I would like the character of Dustfinger anyway, but the intensity and depth Paul Bettany brings to his performance just makes it that much more perfect.

BTW, another song that I think would work really well with this character is "Man With No Country" by Flogging Molly.

The movie didnt do the book justice I think they wanted to make it for the family and didnt much good. They left alot of details and messed things up. Bandon Fraser is a horrible Mortimer but Paul Bettany did a fantastic job as Dustfinger.And he was pretty sexy in this movie.

Sure, the movie portrayed him differently than the book did (I honestly prefered the book's never knowing who's side he's going to be on and the lack of trust in parts over the movie's 'Oh, well he did this stuff but still trust him again') but it was still good. Dustfinger is the best character in the series, IMO and so much love to him~
