The most pointless, stupidest game ever created. I believed the hype for too long until I realised this 'game' was just shit. I just ended up abusing the little prick - which was futile but much more fun.

You must understand the little bastard would hardly ever do what you asked. This is the predecessor to The Sims. It was positively annoying and I agree truely boring.

The game was stunningly original and I found it totally enchanting watching that little man in his house.
One question: where did you get this version of the game? The version I downloaded had a different set of tunes, but the tunes in your video are the ones "my man" used to play.
@razor71 I use VICE, but also CCS64 since it offers Kaillera Client/online/multi play. So many great vintage/classic games, but with the exception of 1 person (who's disappeared awhile back), I can't find anybody to play them with. Obviously (judging from the numerous videos here) there is interest in retro-gaming, but I've had little luck attracting potential retro gamers. Here goes....you wouldn't by chance be interested in playing C64, Atari 2600-400/800, NES, or MAME, online, would you?

You're obviously playing this on a Commodore 64 emulator which is bad. Its bad because this "game" had some fairly good sound effects and music that use the C64's SID chips analog filters just right.

There are two versions of this game: the original one on floppy was complete, while the cassette version (not original) was not complete: the guy doesn't play piano and does nothing you order. I think this video comes from the cassette version.

A very, very innovative game for its time. Each disk had a unique character (for the diskette version, not tape). In your video he is blond, in my copy he is balding and grey. If you say please you get better results. Like Please play piano will stop him in his tracks and he will play the piano almost every time.

Yes it does, this is a C64 version played via an emulator on the PC. I use Winvice. Games like LCP can be downloaded on many c64 sites.

Maan I remember when this game came out, I was waiting for months and I had a slight problem, I wanted the game but I did not have a C64 yet, so I had to get one and then finally the game, slow ass cassette loader, but as boring as it was it was kind of revolution back then, I remember articles talking about how these little people were REAL *l*
