Eventually, when kung fu masters, such as Wan Chi Ming, immigrated to New York, all the fighting factory workers went to the schools. Then the schools competed to see who was the best school on Chinese New Year. Now a days, police will shoot you if you start a fight.
i'm going in December - got a hotel right in the heart of Chinatown. NEver been to NYC before but have been to China. It will be interesting to see if they are anything alike. Can't wait!
