nice going mate, im kinda in the same experience but with a game, i am clearly in the right because im getting all my information off the creator of the game, he is just getting his information from his books(he owns a game shop) well done, i have just done the same thing (via email) and now i am waiting for a reply, "fight for whats right, back away from whats wrong" (just a little thing i say to keep me going) :)

But you gotta feel for these retailers, dont forget the rent and rates he has to pay, the Internet is killing small businesses, you can set up in your garage with no overheads and sell it with a 10% mark up, dont know what the answer is really. As im sure you already know, he cant compete with online retailers.

They dont have as many overheads as this guy does, and they're obviously buying in much larger bulk than him.

They will get a much better deal on each unit price due to buying a lot more so they can sell them at that price they do and still make money.

And just a final general FYI - Dont piss off your local bike shops, because one day, not today or tomorrow maybe, but one day, you WILL need them. ;)

Yes but he didn`t even know how much they are being sold for, thats bad bussiness sense espeacially on something with high costs he will never beat online prices but surely he needs to know what they are. And like i said he seemed like a nice guy i`m not trying to piss anyone off
