However, it was and arguably remains in the realm of state police powers (regulatory authority) to regulate marriage as the citizens of that state deem fit. The Warren court flagerently turned a blind eye to the legislative history of marital laws as well as the original intent of the framers of the Fourteenth Amendment. Justice Warren was a judicial activist whose constitutional mischief continues to manifest itself.
@mskittycat315 i read about your auntie on yahoo today found out her husband died from drunk driver. Was drunk driver prosecuted? How was family after Richard died? How was Mildred after her husband died? I read her son died in 2000? What happen to her son?
This is my auntie,, I miss her so much she was a great women ! Ur family changed history and I am so proud of her ! Our family is mixed and we our proud of it !
great kick ass project ashmo329 ! it really helped me a lot in doing this essay in response of this court case. It is still very influential like said on the last section of the video, to that of how it has affected on today's same sex marriage... all so interesting.....
