  • Qu'est-ce qu'elle avait de si impressionnante que ça cette projection?

  • fake

  • impressive for a yellow belt...that girl...

  • no but everyone sees it's fake but the actress is pretty nice who is she?

  • i say we just smack them all.

  • does mr. black belt have an earring on ?! he lost his balance on the horrible throw lol

  • what's the movie?

  • Lol the guy with the black beard is Dieudonné, a french actor/comedian. Wtf is this video about rofl?

  • kata guruma to kesa gatame

  • i hate that variation of kata =/ im to tall for it lol :)

  • Wow Kata Guruma

  • If you are truly good at Judo, you will not use strength in fights, because Judo means "gentle way". You use your opponent's force against him. Unless a wimpy nerd is picking on you. Force is not required.

  • Exactly all it takes is for them to push and you use the momentem to throw them over your hips

  • Actually, it will work. If they punch you in the face you can use one of the basics, where you grab their arm pull and stick your leg out and make them trip on it. You can even pull the Uchimata out.

  • Not if your fighting a good striker

  • And actually what if you get hit, and you drop?

  • Then you try to get back up.

  • He might pounce and keep dropping bombs on your face,

  • Then you're fucked.

  • true that :D

  • that chick is hot

  • i know that trainer guy from another movie i cant remember wich

  • conrock12 what weight class are you in?

  • okay i use panseanagi and i win state esay

  • im 14 yrs old and i use this throw at state and national tournamen'ts this video make's it look very east to do. you have to be fast and strong to do this people are not gonna just walk into this throw

  • true for tourneys but in real people are dumbass' and dont know what the hell you are doing lol

  • stfu u dont know anything

  • so true.

  • i obv kno more that all u fuckheads the smallest and heavyest person is better than a tall person at at judo...

  • lamy

  • that was lame

  • wow worst actors ever.

  • what the foooooock is this

you give judo a bad name!

  • what is this film?

  • Judo is not a easy sport at all.You need to be fast flexable.

  • kata guruma.. pfff.

  • pfffff

  • that sucks

  • this video is awsome i love judo

  • bad vid booooooooo

  • stay playing american football and let the judo for professionals..

  • judo is all about leverage and lowering your bodies center of gravity, using body parts a fulcrum, and off balancing you opponent. It often favors smaller people like women and kids sometimes cause they can use their lower center of gravity and a larger person weight and momentum to their advantage.

  • judo does mean the gental way but out of all the marshal arts there are judo is the hardest it is a very good sport and those who think judo is just for girls ur are wrong

  • who the hell said judo was for girls lol theyre idiots. id rather take a shot to the face from a boxer then get slammed with an uchi mata

  • loads of people i no say judo is for girls,

i have been slammed into the floor with a better throw than uchi mata and it felt good :D

  • thoae people are misinformed. judo is a very good, and very hard sport

  • pwnd

  • that kata guruma was soooo badly staged, he did nothing to fend it off. AND kata guruma is almost impossible in competitive situations.

  • yeah its almost ippmossible but if your opponment messis up and just lets u get it

  • the fireman's carry? your opponent does not have to mess up. all you have to do is get right under them. i myself prefer the drop version of the throw. but no, it can be done

  • Kata guruma is a common and serious competition throw it is done all the time

  • i was taught judo is actually - the gentle way... the soft way makes it sound gayy...

but really all the belt does is hold your gi together...

  • the word judo means, gentle way = 柔道

  • And its also a nice handle for a lot of throws :) only got 3 secs to use it tho...

  • cool im a 7th degree brown belt

  • what belt are you? xD if your red, then its pretty obvious

  • lol belt doesnt mean anything... there are yellow belts that can win me=[

  • Belts doesn't show GOOD you are, it just mean how much throws and arm locks, strangles etc. you know!

  • Sure, if you go to a McDojo...

  • its just a yellow belt LOL

  • dont insult the yellow belts... the belt means nothing in judo

  • yeah it does! It means all...it means everything..it means all and everything - TOGETHER!

  • fool. the belt means shit

  • ...guess you're not used to sarcasm...

  • belts do mean a lot in judo.. the higher your belt the more you know&can.

  • not true. you could learn throws/takedowns from sources outside your dojo, and still be a white belt

  • So what is Judo about,

    purely self defense?

  • it is true though 'the soft way' judoka how we are taught now days is a competition art. what judo was before it was called judo was a self defence art but is to dangerous to teach new peps what iv been shown u cld kill some1 with the first white belt throw forgot name

  • Yes. No weapons, punches, special gear, nada. You learn how to get someone off balance and then throw them to the ground. When they get up, throw them again. And again. If you had to use it in a street fight, you'd do fine. Cement isn't the nicest thing to bounce off of...

  • very true. especialy wen their wont be any1 to pull u off from a arm lock, choke, strangle

  • Judo is no just throws, there's chokes, traps, takedowns, and ground grappling involve. Depends what Judo school you go to. If I were you, go to the ones that teaches everything Judo has to offer.

  • for streetfighting jujitsu is a lot better because there are strikes. im not saying judo is bad for self defence but you don't learn how to block punches n stuf

  • Judo's got strikes but practiced in kata forms. Kata forms in Judo involves to people.

  • yes and no. it may not be as aeffective in street fights as kickboxing or aikido, but it is still an effective and brilliant martial art (it is also thought by some to be the hardest). it is not about pain, merely neutralising an opponent with athrow, and then, if needs be, causing them to submit with a hold, armlock, choke or strangle. its primarily a sport, and a great one at that.

  • Some people say it's not a street worthy Martial art, yet Japanese Police use this and don't even carry pistols... HMMMM!

  • What if the criminal has a pistol

  • 1. Japanese cops get taught it differently. 2. Pistol defence is in the black belt katas

  • Then they called for armed backup. Not every police force in the world carry guns you know.

  • ahahaha "skilled" eh?

yes, that Yellow belt has "Skills".

    haha. XD

    speaking of skills,

is there any tomonagi vids on youtube?

I know I have to be spelling it wrong...

man, I love that throw. XD

  • Correct spelling is tomoe nage.

There is a lot of videos about it.

  • this is not tomoe nage..

  • kataguruma - if you wanna know.

  • Right, kataguruma!

  • Nice Judo is awesome

  • lol very skilled yellow belt -.-

  • La re- Kata Guruma.

  • It's from a very pleasant movie released by Camille de Casabianca in 2000/2001 (I'm not sure for the year) called "Vive Nous!"...

  • i was gonna say, it didnt look like they just filmed it at some dojo...
