Amazing layout. Thanks for sharing. What engine is in second lash position? In steam I thought only switch engines had opperating front couplers. How did you couple the second engine to the first?

Almost every steam locomotive had couplers on both ends. Some streamlined engines had rotating couples, that could be rotated inside the front portion to make the locomotive looks more streamlined. Some freight locomotives had this same feature.
