Communism works only on a small scale, a small town, a community, it does not work on the scale of a nation (except maybe Lichtenstein, but thats an exception due to size). You may not have noticed but the US has literally wiped out starvation to a similar extent that polio was eradicated.

In communism, competition may not be money wise, but even giving out a metal, or a leader more power is competition. They have greed and jealousy in many ways (gifts, love, friendship and so on...) and they have politics, which uses categorizing techniques to demoralize people. This is why they failed. But how do we remove or solve such problems?

Dude, the current system is far from capitalist. How is it capitalist when big banks get bailed out while the ordinary citizen lose their jobs? All we are asking is fairness. As for communism, I think we still have to overcome the fundamental flaw of human nature, the greed for power. Only if a viable system with failsafes is created, then I can trust socialism.

Communism works only on a small scale, a small town, a community, it does not work on the scale of a nation (except maybe Lichtenstein, but thats an exception due to size). Communism may work in the future, but at the moment it is not humanly possible for it to work. Id love to see it work, but I wont live that long

And Social Democracy has proven 2 things, 1) it's sustainable, and 2) the people, even the poor, are happy. Communism failed at both and pure Capitalism failed at #2. And what do I care about the Greeks, they think that retirement at 53 with 80% is sustainable and protest people trying to change that.

Henry Ford paid his workers $5 a day, that was a lot of money at the time for a laborer. He wasn't forced to by a government body, he understood that if he wanted good hard workers he would have to pay for them. Capitalism at work.

And don't make assumptions. What matters is that is what you are doing raising the most amount of people out of poverty and keeping them there? Or is it simply sating your anger?
Personally, I like to focus more on the former than the latter.

@KOMC4444 I try to be the reverse of naive, which is well researched and focused on the most specific and definitive cause of a problem. And no one in America, baring some physical illness starves. You may not have noticed but the US has literally wiped out starvation to a similar extent that polio was eradicated.
People go hungry, yes, but they don't starve. And when you look at the rest of the world where people DO starve, thats huge.
Can you say all of that 1% are evil? or even 0.01%?

Both responses would raise different "fixes" to the situation. One would be specific, targeted and useful, the other would be a general "nuclear" option.

The problem isn't communist or capitalist. In both systems, there is competition, there is greed and there is politics. In communism, competition may not be money wise, but even giving out a metal, or a leader more power is competition. They have greed and jealousy in many ways (gifts, love, friendship and so on...) and they have politics, which uses categorizing techniques to demoralize people. This is why they failed. But how do we remove or solve such problems?
