  • saw them open for The Jesus Lizard in 93. when they blew one of the best live bands ever off the stage, I instantly became a fan.

  • system of a down is pretty much on the other end of the musical spectrum from GVSB....dunno how you'd connect those dots..........that, and they suck..........

  • Amazing gig in Athens, amazing contact & "lose"connection, ta spasave

  • i like it....bass heavy, obviously influenced by system of a down but thats cool

  • @joehogan212 Um.... GvsB were a band way before system of a down. I think GvsB are the one's who influenced system of a down, not the other way around. Just sayin....

  • No damn way. System of a down was started after GvsB.

  • @joehogan212 Hey they actually came out way before System of a Down we're talking early 90's

  • what a band ...but they never was so famous...maybe thats why is one of my favorite...

  • The guitar sound(s) of this song has always been a fav

  • This song is awesome !!!! It has a real strait blasting spin to it !!! I love it !

  • In dust I still trust

  • x head is x vibe

  • i disagree! Venus was the greatest disc by far and still one of 2 or 3 greatest cd's i ever bought.

I LOVE GVSB, but nothing touches Venus Luxure. Even the band realizes this.

  • House of... was by far the best GvsB lp, although Cruise Yourself & You Can't Fight... were both awesome

  • Yeah I was lucky enough to see them at the el ray! The show was so magical I almost cried, and when they played cruise yourself it was like I got ran over by a semi. Bad ass! They blow all these new pissy little indie bands out the fuckin' water.

  • I was at the El Rey the same night (July 2007). I'd seen GVSB a few times before, but never heard them play the songs they did that night. Still, the venue was wrong -- too swank for a band with origins in DC HC.

But I definitely agree that they blow the current crop of so-called indie bands right out of the water. They had, and have, a sound like no other.

  • can you send me this song??

Please send me a mail =*

  • i saw a song of theirs on a tv chanel...extreme tv with skaters and riders but i can`t rem te name of the song...could someone tell me some songs ?

  • what guitar is scott playing? I've just been introduced to the band's music and I'm curious what he plays on.

  • Bowery Ballroom, NYC July 20, 2007!!!

El Rey, Los Angeles, July 22, 2007!!!

  • GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! GVSB are awesome.

  • haven't seen them since the 90's.This band finished right?

  • They released a new album in 2002, You Can't Fight What You Can't See, which is really excellent - check the video for Basstation.

Lately they played gigs, but no news for a new album

  • GVSB, baby. That's all.

  • seriously, double thumbs up for upping this. appreciate the spreading of masterful performances.

  • kick ass, i love this song
