thanks for the vids Daarken, Why cant I change the hard and softness of my custom brushes? Please help!!

i dont know why i cant use custom brushes. whenever i use the other dynamics, it overlaps. it looks translucent but my opacity is 100. it doesn't blend. help. :(

@bellabanda08 Hmm, what other options do you have turned on? Do you have wet edges turned on? Sometimes that can make your brush look translucent.

any idea of wwhy my pressure sensitivity doesnt work?

Could be that you don't have it turned on under the brush controls. Go to Window - Brushes. Turn on Other Dynamics and make sure Opacity Jitter is set to Pen Pressure.

If that doesn't work, try updating your tablet drivers.

Omg, I desperatly need to get to that school for illustrators. I have never made my own brush, I feel I should have been taught basic stuff like that ages ago.

Time to make lots and lots of brushes, to compensate for the last ten years that I... haven't...
