@SkeeterNYC Poppycock, I wouldn't even give them that label...The Cure and Siouxsie and the Banshees never describe themselves as anything else other than "Rock". The reason why they got labeled "Goth" is because people who where considered goth or associated with goths listen to this bands. the Cult changed there name three times, a member of the band can be quoted as saying that Southern Death Cult and Death Cult were too "goth" sounding so the kept it at The Cult!

@Blackmamba7189 and the only other label I've seen refering to Siouxsie and the Banshees is "Primative Art Punk"...but that's accroding to the Official SATB myspace page which I believe is run by Steven Sevrin, I could be mistaken.
