Amazing. .this uber genius of music, and funny enough not the most narural performer. Song is beyond brilliant.. .but Russ you have to stay close to the mic when you are singing so you get back to sing on time...love the guitar playing, this is the mad scientist of pop music..Rivers Cuomo eat yer friggin' heart out

I thanks not to get jailed for a long time, for what i did during the period i heard Russ Ballard songs. It´s a good sound in the F1 racing Circuit nightclub big JBLs at Estoril .

True ... Russ has written a ton of great tunes, but he's not a live performer in the real sense.

In my estimation he's more of a studio guy, and lacks stage presence.

Again, a great musician / writer, but perhaps that doesn't pay all the bills so you hit the road.

Don´t forget Russ themes: JUST A DREAM AWAY and MY TIME IS GONNA COME from Roger Daltrey´s VICAR album. And Ballard was a producer in "Ride A Rock Horse",another album from the singer of the WHO. Or listen the Ace Frehley (KISS) versión of "New York Groove".

I love Bob Henrit, I actually learned to play drums by listening and playing along to the Kinks album "Think Visual" back in 1986.

He joined the Kinks in 1984, so he was actually in the band for 12 years.
