No one wants it to continue but the fact is that the thing is very deep and the hole isn't a simple round shape that someone can put a big rubber stopper in. its coming out at a pressure thats about 3000psi. FWIW I don't think anyone is being lackadaisical about the spill. No one wants it to continue but the fact is that the thing is very deep and the hole isn't a simple round shape that someone can put a big rubber stopper in. its coming out at a pressure thats about 3000psi. That would be like a commercial pressure washer with a hole thats 1000 times larger. I hope it accelerates our weaning off of crude oil as fuel.
