Ah the good old "Arab Trader argument"....I'm sure the slave trade in other places had implications for those people and places, but the discussion is about the implications the slave trade in America had on American society. this is what i dont get. The reason black people were enslaved was because the english (and everyone else) found that they were uncivilized. Even up until the early 1900's they werent quite as civilized as the white people maybe because they werent given the chance idk. So now tell me WHY! black people think they deserve so much more. Racism began its end when they became civilized. The only reason black people assume racism is because whites are scared of ignorant blacks who rob and steal.

This is all refering to AFrican Americans. And we've only had about 60 years of actual freedom. Black women were not oppressed by black men durring slavery, but by white men. Its almost a joke that black women got caught up into the whole womens rights thing.

Every day I'm not looked upon as a person, but as a black person.
