@xsolon11 well I thought so when I first played it, but later thought it was actually an interpretation of the same theme and idea, but you are probably right.
@inshreds45 Don't get why this single was on United Artists label when the sountrack album was on DECCA, even in the UK. I guess that UA was entitled to release it and then by mutual agreement DECCA had equal rights to the film music for the album. But why no album on UA etc ?
@inshreds45 Well that isn't surprising, as that is the US 'equivalent' of DECCA as The 'Stones 60s records were on London in the US but UA of course was more associated with movies in the 60s and although UA released both AHDN and HELP ! Beatles movies, the orchestral music was released on the usual Beatles US label Capitol, mixed in with their own music on the US albums
@jayburdification nope but it is on youtube already, the side I posted wasn't at the time. They are both the same tune just different arrangements of it.
It's not the same song on the A-side.

@TheKenfig i don't know, but an interesting observation. According to wikipedia, the album was on London in the US and Decca in the UK.

Great find! Do you have the A-Side posted? It should be titled "Love In The Open Air" also credited to George Martin & His Orchestra.

Thanks so much for sharing this. It shows Paul's talent so well and the difference between him and John Lennon.

@missgreeneyes56 you're right: Paul is a good musician; Lennon was a genius

@ammar255 'Very good' ? That's THE understatement isn't it ? Don't you know half of Lennon's music ?
