Hey all, I am currently transitioning and just took my hair out after having it in a protective style. I then did a deep condition using honey. Later I did a full sew-in. I am weighing growing it all out or doing a BC. I am just letting it grow a little first. Love your channel and plan to stay on it to assist with my journey.

So I finally got down to reading the e-book and want to say thank you on all the helpful tips on keeping hair growth. I was reminded about how a good routine can assist with this. I was also reminded about how healthy living (exercise, fruits, vitamin supplements and water) is good for the hair. I also learnt new info about extra conditioning during the winter months and about massaging my scalp!!! Didn't know that was so important, so thank you for the e-book and your channel.

Just wanted to share an article I read the other day that highlighted the struggles of African women and their hair and while this is true I believe that It is not so far off, from what many African Americans believe. When I moved to the US I became 'aware' that natural hair is seen in a 'negative' light. So its not only Africans that need to emancipated from mental slavery, we all do.

Hello I am new transitioning to natural hair right now, so I need all the help I can get. I am not new to natural hair though because for the first 22 years of my life I wore natural hair and relaxed my hair as an adult. I enjoyed relaxed hair, but want to give natural hair another chance.
I like how thick your hair looks! Truth is I went natural 2 yrs ago because I hated how thin my hair felt when I relaxed it. I realized my hair was thicker natural so I cut the relaxed part off.
I'm really trying to reach WL by December 2014! Your youtube videos have helped me learn to protect my hair and try to preserve length. I still have a long ways to go, but the journey's getting easier!

When I went natural I searched Youtube and the internet looking for other women that were doing the same thing. I've been a fan for about a yr now, due to my ignorance of black hair care on Utube, & your story is inspiring. I forgot which video it is, but its the one where u reveal ur hair in its dry natural state & you talk about how u came to be natural. The whole perm and cut thing/frizz from working out drama frustration was the story of my life up until about a yr ago.

I have come a long way on my hair journey and if it wasn't for youtube videos I would have prob permed my hair a long time ago. I first went natural while i was deployed and it was a very hard thing to due since we had very limited hair products. I got made fun of on a daily, laughed at, called all kind of names basically i was the butt of the nappy jokes everyday. i had a few supports (suprisingly not black ppl) who loved my hair texture and encouraged me on my journey. You are an inspiration!!

I got sisterlocks, had them for 7 yrs. when I discovered youtube and did my big chop. I've been on this healthy hair journey since the end of 2009 - long, healthy hair that's my goal.

I've been a fan for about a yr now, due to my ignorance of black hair care on Utube, & your story is inspiring. I forgot which video it is, but its the one where u reveal ur hair in its dry natural state & you talk about how u came to be natural. The whole perm and cut thing/frizz from working out drama frustration was the story of my life up until about a yr ago.

I have come a long way on my hair journey and if it wasn't for youtube videos I would have prob permed my hair a long time ago. I first went natural while i was deployed and it was a very hard thing to due since we had very limited hair products. I got made fun of on a daily, laughed at, called all kind of names basically i was the butt of the nappy jokes everyday. i had a few supports (suprisingly not black ppl) who loved my hair texture and encouraged me on my journey. You are an inspiration!!
