16.00 i really can't agree. I was brought up as a catholic. I was even an altar boy when i was a kid but i grew up and made my own opinion about life and the stars, etc... We can be taught any lie and believe it for a time but eventually the sun comes up and lightens your vision. This scientist is doing himself what he is warning us against.

I think i understand this documentary. I can be forgiven for thinking that this scientist is no better than than the believers of any religion. He is 'advertising' his work and his ambitions. I suppose he would love to see his temples (universities) ruling over all. Universities having overall power and supplanting any church's power. It's humans the root of all evil. No matter how you look at it, people always try to push they will on others. I stay in my belief (evidence) and I feel great.

He gives his version, makes fun of everybody elses, does NOT provide evidence for some things he claims to be true, etc. He warns us about these power mongers and does power mongering himself. We can say that we are alive because God made this inhabitable planet for us, but if we think about whether there are other planets in the universe where there could be life, it may very well be possible. The fact is that only on a planet that supports life could we discuss this topic at all, and at a conservatively estimated billion billion planets (that's one-billion billion), the conditions for life to occur on even just one becomes probable.
