theres a video made at kenwod i think the song in the video is called everybody's had a hard day he singing the song with yoko and he say's surprise surprise i love the song
Just fabulous. I remember that photograph at 9:11 so well. Saw a million times, but never knew it was taken at Kenwood. I too thank you for posting this.. Great to see, but I am shocked that it's not renovated and lived in.
Why oh why does his Kenwood home look like this now?! Britian should be ashamed. I love John so much and it just breaks my heart to see this. But, I am truly thankful to you for posting it. I have been a Beatles fan since 1964 when I was only 13.
Excellent job on matching the two videos. Nature has really crept in over the years and spread around the property. I agree wth the earlier comment that it would have been nice to have kept the house the way John had it--Just for future generations to see how he lived. It would have had to become a national trust property for that to happen though. The soundtrack gives a really ghost -like eery feel to the comparisons made.
Thanks for the comparisons. I hope that the new owners undetake a renovation that at least somewhat reflects the home's appearance during the residency of its most notable owner.

Don't know why they would re-model the interior as it was a piece of history, and a time machine in a sense. They destroyed the vibe man (
Oh well at least it is being restored and not torn down )

The swimming pool was rebuilt after John lived there, in the opposite direction.
I can't watch this. It's too sad; like at a funeral.

One thing about John Lennon - he had exquisite taste in houses. This house is truly beautiful, much the same with his later Surrey Estate.

I would have kept the music area or recording area in original condition...but would have that made it worth more $....I dont know.
