I recently installed logic studio 2 - as an upgrade from my previous version (one with logic pro 8).. during the installation it asked me for the jam pack cd's and the additional content cd but not the audio content cd's - is this anything to worry about, did I not select something I should have at the outset?

Any help you can give would be most helpful.

Good idea for a tutorial. The consensus is to stream samples (Kontakt/EXS24/Play/etc.) on an external drive and record/stream audio on the system drive. I'll have to dig that up and revisit it.

What are the minimum system requirements needed to perform all 3 on an apple iMac? I'm tossing up between a 2.66Ghz or a 2.93Ghz. The latter is $500 more and has a better graphics card. I would like to know what you think.

Pretty sure I explained that in the video. The installer doesn't install any additional content that's already been installed.

this is a great video, but i have a question.........if a person is going to install the loops and other audio files on a seperate drive...can you install the upgrade on your system hard drive and then later install the loops and audio files on a seperate drive?

Thanks! Yes, you can put the loops and other content on an external drive but you'll have to manually import them into Logic so they show up in the loop browser.
