Every location is different. As we continue to face funding challenges, this appears to be the best model to get this roadway built. I'm sure the planners have looked into many options before deciding on a final approach. Regardless, the road is needed and will greatly benefit the El Paso area.
32,000 vehicles a day in 20+ years?? You guys know how well your tolled bypass of Austin is working - hardly anyone takes it and almost no trucks do because it's so expensive. Do you really think this tollway in the boonies is going to do any better?
