...and to finally comment on this video... hmmm... bottlenecking-the-poor-court-s­ystem... as if the Court system is suffering... and the Court system is the victim... ohhh... poor court system... hmmm... and the when you have the same people at-the-top... and to also admit that the prison-system-is-broken... and the words of intentional-negligence... and purposeful-sabotaging come-to-mind and self-endangerment-for-the-guar­ds... so they can too have an exiting career... hmmm... no bueno!

i was just released from high desert in calif and if the damn guards would stop treating convicts like shit they wouldnt get their ass handed to em on a regular basis. just because someone commits a crime does not mean they are not human

There is nothing scary about theword "felon " anymore . That's what happens when you send millions to prison for bullshit drug charges . 4% of the adult male population are felons now . It isn't because there are more criminals , there are just more laws . 40% of our nation's inmates are non-violent drug offenders . What a waste of lives , not to mention billions of dollars .

abcdefgfx Are you 12? Banning weapons only deters law-abiding citizens. Prisons, where all weapons are banned, still have people being stabbed pretty much every day. What does that tell you about criminal mentality. They will do what ever they want legal or not, which is why they are in prison. Do some homework these guys arent interested in more schooling thats why half of inmate pop have less than a 4th grade reading score. Do some research and say something intelligent or dont say anything

you didn´t understand one word i wrote about edjucation. better edjucation is not telling them "learn math". It´s an sociopolitical discussion. and just for your information - i am 38 and know what i am talking about because i am responsible for such matters at my job. so please don´t tell me anything about national economy and prevention of violence, Mister King. And in my country we ban weapons and our crimerate is VERY low. It´s about living standards and edjucation....

If I come off aggressive I apologize, but in This country, and this State the criminal population if offered more educational, and rehabilitational opportunities than almost anywhere else in this country. These guys have better health care than our senior citizen that have worked hard all thier life. 90% of these guys return to prison despite what they are offered. It angers me that hard working, law-abiding citizens suffer at the expsense providing services to these nobodies.

the system is to ban all weapons, more edjucation (also for poor people), hard fight against drugdealers and MORE prisons but better lifeconditions there.

Another possibility:

Send them all to war. Drop them at the frontline of Afghanistan or Irak, hand out weapons and let them fight for their freedom.

The solution is less prisons . If we legalized marijuana and decriminalized small amounts of personal use narcotics , similar to Holland , we would have less crime . Drug addicts in a free country would not steal your television because the War on Drugs raised the price of most drugs 300 to 1,500 % . If a gram of cocaine cost 8 bucks , no houses would get broken into . The argument that there would be more users has been proven false in every nation where decriminalisation has occured . Peace .
