i have come up with a scientific theory but i need some help to solve it...............i have posted it on you-tube site "leon panetta marks the end".............read my comments below the video.
Hold Me is probably my favorite from this album..Such a sublime song executed perfectly by Christine and Lindsay..it leaves me in a trance! Music to my ears!
most underrated fleetwood mac album for sure. Love In Store, That's Alright, Gypsy, Hold Me, and Oh Diane were some of my favorite Fleetwood Mac songs of all time. A great album that doesn't get it's credit.
@jthornton17 A great album. But in my opinion it isn't as great as Fleetwood Mac, Tango In The Night and of course Rumours, my favourite Fleetwood Mac album.
I have to say Mirage is my all time favorite album from Fleetwood Mac , brings back so many perfect memories of being 17 and loving life with new friends my first love and getting high !!
i was in A.I.T. in the Army and saw this album for sale at the PX, without knowing any of the songs but having all of their previous albums and Nicks' solo ones too, I quickly picked up the cassette version and played it every night to dream myself to sleep being so far from home. I agree Empire State is incredible and encourage every Mirage listener to delve into Lindsay Buckinghams' solo work as he picks up right where this album left off.....it's all such incredible work
The reason I leave this comment is in reference to one song on the record. I have played Fleetwood Mac to many members of my generation (generation Y). The loss of taste in the current generation of music listeners fascinates me, and it always pleases me when I play the song that opens the door for a young person to start researching REAL music. I have never seen one person, boy or girl not become enthralled by "Empire State". It was obviously so ahead of its time. Play it and watch them change.
Anyone with live footage of the song 'Book of love' please post lol
