@rollzvalle it's nukusaeyo .. but when koreans speak it sounds like "dukusaeyo" but it is still "nukusaeyo" .. this confusion comes with many other words, when we (foreigners) hear to Koreans speak them.
that's why it's better to learn korean language using the hangul script rather than the romanized form :)
@Amyy96 I think they both are the same except one is spoken form and one is written. If I had to choose though I'd think the written form is more formal, but I'm just guessing. hope it helps, and if you find out otherwise let me know.
Sometimes Americans hug when they greet - but they don't do it for people they are meeting for the VERY first time / never met before - ever (unless they are on a TV show as some celebrity meeting the host - but NOT in real life. The American "way" is to shake hands upon meeting anyone for the very first time. Her greeting to him is totally inappropriate for Americans and not the "American way" - when meeting for the first time. Funny? No.
Great material to learn korean! i just finished the season. yayyy. \:D/
OFFTOPIC:
do u ppl happen to know the real names of the actors? please?? Especially i'm interested in Sang-jin. excuse my bad english btw hahah.
ps: the girl i saw her on "Spring Waltz" ,and the landlord i saw him in "The Legend" (he had a tiny role).Roy it's the first time i see him in this "drama". And the dude looks and acts like that guy in "Delightful Girl Choon Hyang" hahah.
It is impossible to use English pronunciations because it is not acurate, and anyway one have to study how to read it correctly.
Them best recommendation is to study how to read Korean, many peoples did it in 2 hours, and almost anyone can study it in one day.
Later on one can improve accent and learn all phonetic phenomenas more deeply, but for start it is not critical. One of the first phenomenas to learn is that ~hap-nida is read ~ham-nida.
I remember how hard it was for me at first when I started to learn, some of the double vowels confused me, but I could read all the rest from the beginning. (except from understanding the exact difference between ㅂ/ㅃ/ㅍ and other like them. Later on I found it much easier to read/pronounce them than to hear the difference)
i wrote basically the structures and different time tenses of korean and how it all comes together with predicates and pronouns, it all fit on one sheet of paper front and back. With formals and informals. I was pretty impressed, comparing it to an english book with 400 something pages, LOL. pronouncing what im reading is my trouble, but i 'sight' read korean just fine. (sight reading - recognizing the word and its meaning with out pronouncing)
@Ron064 haha, reading english is damn easy, It's as easy as the whole english Language... I mean english is like the easiest language of all, Just always THE, no conjugating, english is just too easy...
@JustaTestable he means the alphabet. The letters when used with the english alphabet (basically all languages that use latin characters) can represent a multitude of sounds. Whereas in korean, for the most part, each character has one sound. And you don't have combinations like "th", "ch" "sh" and so on in korean, because almost all consonants are preceded and followed by vowels.
btw are you a native english speaker, because I am, and I even agree with Ron that its pretty difficult.
@RussianCause7 ah, yes now I understand, thanks. And no, I'm not a native english Speaker, I speak German(am Swiss though, not German..) It was just that when I learned English, I thought it to be much easier than German, French or Spanish, but now with the alphabet and the different sounds it seems pretty reasonable to me.

Is pankawoyo similar to mannaseo pangapsumnida? Which one is more polite?

Korean comedians remind me of Jim Carrey...they never say anything funny, just say normal things in "funny" ways.
btw, after watching all the other LSKs faithfully, this new one kicks ass. Learning through Korean dramas? EXCELLENT!

Also, is it just me, or did Lisa get way hotter since LSK 3?

But it's cool anyway.

In general learning to read English is one of the most difficult to learn, while reading Korean is one of the easiest to learn.
There is no magic, it still takes lots of time and practice to be able to read fluently, but starting is very easy.
so to everyone who reads it: don't be afraid from the task of learning to read Korean, it's easy, and it's really worth it.

hitmonlee00 3 years ago
Yes, it is a very common question.
Ron064 3 years ago
i think it's duguseyo... that's what it reads.
sehruhh 3 years ago
it reads nuguseyo o.o. i often hear people say duguseyo..or is it just me..maybe i heard wrongly.
hitmonlee00 3 years ago
Nuguseyo?: 누구세요?
Duguseyo?: 두구세요? (Not a word) I guess they put too much accent in "누" so that it may sounds like "두".

yeah i noticed that too. it threw me off for a sec.
