@TheTwoWheelManiac They got stuck because there was densely packed snow/ice on the road and the road also had a slope to it. Either way, the driver did a good job of avoiding the parked cars.
Also, from your comment, it seems that you have a better way to drive this car in these conditions.....Please explain what YOU would do in that situation....And why it would work better than in the video. I think you'll come up with an idea...but, that idea will most likely be WRONG...
@cap10moman First of all I wouldn't have driven a rwd car in such snow, because that is just retarded. The only idea I have to drive in such conditions is high hear and low revs
@benkedoesit What country are you from?? I'm in the United States and barely (if not ever) see a BMW stuck on the side of the road. Then again, I don't see too many cars getting stuck personally. But with ASC, and especially DSC, it is very hard to slide into a ditch unless, (1) The driver was going to fast and and the DSC couldn't make the proper adjustments - do to the simple laws of Physics. And (2) It doesn't matter what car you are in...if you hit ice, you will prolly lose control.
That's great! I'll go ahead with the purchase then. One last thing though. Will the e39 m5 brakes be a direct swap all around because I've seen two that have been sitting at a junkyard for a few months. both are pretty much bare shells but they do the brakes and suspension left. Thank you again ;)
Hey Homerraas, I found a set of these 20" for USD$1,400 negotiable. They have a small patch of light curb rash on the front left rim that's repairable; Would you say that's a reasonable price? Your opinion is greatly valued, thanks.
Aaaaand along comes a little kid that slips and falls 20 meters further down the road and you can't stop even though you're only driving 15 Km/h. Wonder what would be the outcome of that...
oh! another bmw on the right in the video : P
