The reason for copyright is to protect music artiss from having thier music sales hurt by people giving the song away.

Somehow I doubt there are any CDs with classic Disney theme songs on them, and trailors like this are an exellent promotion for The DVD sets that have these theme songs on them

WMV gets a cut of every sale of a DVD using thier theme song, but they just muted a YouTube video that was promoting those DVDs.

For me, what's funny is that some of these aren't the intros I remember.

For example, Ducktales ran for over 100 episodes and I only watched the first intro. (Same music, but different video clips)

Or, more annoyingly, the Chip 'n' Dale intro used here is also a newer one than I saw, but the older one sounds better in my opinion. You can tell them apart because this one has sound-effects for the police car and sword in the beginning and the other one doesn't.
