all you do is copy and paste another picture on top of it make a path all the way around the image, right click on the path tab press make slection, then new selection. go to layers then at the bottom there will be a button called " add layer mask" click it then your image will appear on the picture with no backround just the graphix you made and the part you wanted on there.

This is a great tutorial! You explained everything in such detail, just awesome!

Just at the end I got a little lost with the "inner glow"; maybe my settings were different, so it took me a while to realize I needed to set the Blending Mode from Screen to Normal and then max out the size to 250 px. I am really new :) Anyway this has helped me out a lot, so thank you very much for putting this up for us newbies!! :)

NEVER save Jpeg first ever ever ever always save PSD first because if you loose your work you will not get the layers back! only save jpeg when you complete but make sure you dont delete the PSD file! Save everytime you do someting as well that way if PS crashes you will no loose anywork.

You should get the software Camtasia, it's easier to see whats happening when the image is directly captured from screen, instead of by handcam. :)
