they shouldve made the controls a seperate connecter that goes in the headphone jack and then connect to the headphones on the other side itd be less money to buy than a whole new set of headphones haha

@m2x3808 Yes apple should have done that. But then we would be complaining that it has a seperate controls and that it will be too bulky.. The thing apple should do is make a genuine control adaptor that comes with the shuffle or as an accessory so you can use aftermarket headphones. Personally i like the idea of the controls on the headphones but i just hate the apple headphones. What i did was replace the earbuds with my sennheiser earbuds and i could'nt be more happy.

The sucky thing about the Ipod Shuffle is if you break the headphones you have to buy new ones. The headphones are like thirty-nine dollars.

Wow, in early 2007, I paid $79 for my 1 GB iPod Shuffle when the 2nd gens had just come out! It was my first iPod :) Good times.... I still use it for the gym.
