That heater was useless, though it was only 500w. I imagine a 1500w would actually do some good. That 500w wouldn't clean the windshield at all. I'm going to take a ceramic heating core out of a standard heater and use that. Instead of putting it in the heater core, I'm going to put it on the intake duct for my blower. Much easier to get to and I think it will work just as well.
i was just wondering if the unit puts out enough heat to defrost the windows? i am in a state of flux until i know. i am not sure of the pull the dash apart rout and use a ceramic heating element or use the water heating method
