I understand battles are for fun. So is any other game, and in some games, if you run before it finishes, you get banned (like in Dota [a Warcraft map]). So yeah, I understand getting swept sux a lot, but it's disrespectiful to your opponent to not allow him to sweep you if he will win xP But that's just my opinion \o/

Sometimes its respectable to run though. Like when you have no chance of winning but your last pokemon is like a blissey so in ordwer to lose you would have to just sit there for like 30 minutes as they SLOOOOWLY kill you. In the pokemon community running is almost never disrespectful its admitting that the other person is far better then you. In msot games running is disrespectful though just like disconnecting is.

You just discribed something gay :P Fleeing just because you can win is an offense to your opponnent, because he took his time to set up a winning and you just ran because you didn't want to 'lose'. I don't like it and I don't aprove it. Imagine if some team is playing soccer and the other team opens a 4x0 score, and then they just decide to leave the game because they can't win anyway. It pisses off everybody =p
