  • This is extremely encouraging! Thank you brother! I will pray for you today!

  • I am memorizing the NT, several chapters into Gospel of Matthew, how long did it take to memorize John? Also do you continue to recite the book in order to retain it? Thank you for sharing this technique of hourly repetition, Im going to apply it and see how it goes. Any advice on memorizing and retaining entire books of the Bible?

  • I got a start doing this in the following way:

    1. Buy a watch that has a countdown timer (timex)

    2. Decide how many verses you want to commit to memory at a time.

    3. Do your best to get alone and quiet the FIRST thing in the morning. (Your very first thought upon awaking should be only those verses. Maybe it's only one verse.)

    4. Take an hour to memorize.

    5. From that point on, use a 1-hour countdown. Whenever it beeps throughout the day, you say the verse(s).

-- I want to know your progress.

  • look, im in this missionettes thing and i really want to become an honor star. but i have to memorize 33 memory verses. i have the worst memory probably ever, what should i do?
