I would like to let the Tuohy family know what an impact their story has had in my life. I am African American and I can tell you that this story has touched my heart. This family truely has God as a driving force in their life. I would love to meet them one day. I live 5 miles from Memphis! But honestly if you have to go on govt aid to begin with you should not be having children, its only meant to be there as helping hand to get you back on your feet not their to help you support your children until they are adults. AA have to start setting some standards for having children.

I grew up in just such an enviroment my whole family was on drugs I'm not lying, I saw early on what that does to people and I knew I didn't want to live like that or have my life turn out like that, I didn't have anyone, somehow be and my younger brother managed not to turn out like my reltives and family members. I didn't grow up with a support system but I did have eyes to see with and what I saw I did not like nor did a I want to emulate.
