i was at this show. it was the evening performance. my mom took me, i was 9yrs old, remember like it was yesterday. one of the only times that he did this by himself at the piano, live. awesome performance

truly this man was saved and the holy spirit is in him when he sang that song! OMGosh, what we as americans lost during that hot summer in 77. tears are in my eyes and yet im so moved by his voice and power to make that song his. I just cant wait to meet him when i go to heaven. it is something i really look forward to in my next life with jesus. Elvis will always be the king of rock and roll. TCB!

This is such a very beautiful, historic and powerful song and Elvis definitely has the very best renditions of it. As you know, this was the only time that Elvis ever sang this song live in concert. It's such a shame that this live performance is still officially unreleased. Elvis' live version of this song couldn't have been any better. This video was absolutely magnificent in every way, 10 Stars.
