@sparkythe3rd2 he probably used an N64 emulator and recorded it directly on the computer and edited it with any number of publicly available movie editing programs. Or used a Wii or N64 hooked up to a computer via a video capture card and then did the editing.

Question: where did you get the clip you used of the monster at 01:55? It doesn't look like any attack I've ever seen that one use. Perhaps it was the angle you used.

I recorded all of the gameplay myself, played through the game all 3 possible ways. That's the boss of the big red star in the center of the galaxy map. It's just a normal attack, I happened to be moving to the right when he swung at me so probably just the way the screen was tilted made it look different.

This was a good attempt. A for effort. It could use some polish. Here's what I'd suggest: make it shorter, plan the trailer so that the action progresses steadily higher, rather than the way you have it, where intense scenes happen in between mild ones. I liked the talking over the scenes by the narrator, but probably could have chosen better scenes to go with it.

Very good effort, really well done. The only slight criticism I have is that perhaps a better background theme could have been chosen, but hey that's just me. Another trailer with soundbites and scenes from starfox assault would awesome - *aparoids controlling fox's father*: ''Fox, there's no need to fight anymore....''

I like your use of soundbites, and the way you made Pepper say different words in that cutscene, and the cool way you opened up the trailer with the fadein/fade outs of the Great Fox and close up of the Starfox logo, as is often seen in many real trailers.

Probably one of the better fake trailers I've seen.

as for the second question, i have a capture card that lets me plug anything with an RCA jack (the red, white, and yellow cables) into my computer. it came with the editing program i use "pinnacle studio plus pro 9" and it lets me input the video directly from the N64 as full quality.

I think this trailer is really cool. What I think you should do to improve it is to fix the widescreen so that it doesn't cut off the top and bottom of the shots. I don't like it when widescreen does that.
