Too funny. BUT, few people were still using typewriter hand return carriages 30 years ago. Remember the IBM Selectric. I bought mine in 1975. I still have one as a reminder of 'the good old days,' LOL
My mom can type over 150 words a minute on a type writer. She typed an essay for my father I then had to go through it and remove all the extra lines and 'returns' she had added in to make it double spaced. She was complaining that word kept capitalising words on her not realising that at the end of the line the text will carry around and she can format for double lines automatically. Its been a steep learning curve for them in 2009.
