  • Thank you for posting this. I must have listened to this a hundred times in the late seventies-- without the book even!

  • Thank you so much for posting. My childhood came back in a flash.

  • i cant believe it! thanks for putting this up

  • This is an oddity. It is clearly the 1978 Audio story, but the record

design is that of the 1960s Disney Read Along records.

  • @mrtelevision I have a 1965 Lady and the Tramp read-along. Well, actually a late 1970's reissue (cover doesn't say that, but I can tell because "Pete's Dragon" is in the catalogue on the inner back cover of the included book), but it has the 1960's green Disneyland read-along label. I have a 1979 Mother Goose read-along (but I don't have the book) and it has the yellow "rainbow" Disneyland label.

  • But it is Hal Smith narrating, I

    recognize his voice.

  • @joshualiu1993 I'm sorry, I don't have it. Maybe another trip to the thrift shop to find some records would do.

  • That was Hal Smith narrating, right?

  • The label didn't give credit to the narrator.
