How did you install the front landing gear? i have this same exact plane but the landing gear wont go in and im afraid that i might break it if i forced it..
Hi, my servo and front landing gear came installed on mine. I only had to install the wheel and spring wire on it with the set screw. I did however break it and have to replace it. It is very tight in there. I had to twist and turn the wire to get it in first, THEN attach it to the servo link. I will also mention that I did end up compressing some of the foam inside with the wire a bit to get it to fit through the hole for the gear. Didn't break through though. :)
Is this your first plane? You have the best video ive seen so far ! How do you like the transmitter that came with it ? Ive got one on the way, any tips would be much appreciated....Thanks
It's not my first plane, but it is really easy to fly IF you are used to flying with ailerons. This is NOT A GOOD FIRST PLANE! LOL My first plane (in the past 15 years anyway) was the Art-Tech P-51 Mustang. There are some things you MUST do before flying the F-18! I'll PM you with the details, there's not enough room in the comments section.
The transmitter is great! The plane has never flown out of range and I have gone way beyond the "I can tell the orientation" visual range! (I don't recommend that though! It was just for the video)
Amazing. Very cool. Thanks for that. Two suggested flight plans: Along the water at 50 feet (does the plane float?) and launched / flown from the Stratosphere tower in Las Vegas. :-)
Wow what an amazing video!

Nice flight, Isn't the sound track from the Mojo's?
I heard the bass player suffered from a total mental breakdown and started to fly RC planes with a spy cam attached.......oh wait.....never mind..LOL
Great flight seriously! Redshirt.

Hey! To put that in perspective, that was 15+ years ago! Damn time fly's! We were just kids, and I still haven't grown up! LOL
Thanks for the comment. C.J.
