  • where to get adapted to this iron stick?

  • @paulome100 The toner tool is available from inkowl.com

  • do you know where I can find the silver colored tape? thanks!

  • @jlvma3 This is just regular aluminum duct tape used for ventilation systems. It can be found at any hardware store. Of course, the tape will be included if you order an InkOwl toner refill kit.

  • This procedure is wrong. Every time you will have to empty the rezidual toner and to clean the charge roller, also to make sure that dr. Blade is also clean.

  • @cazudincer Our procedure does include emptying of the residual (excess) toner. You have to remember that this is a procedure intended for home use, not professional remanufacturing. Therefore, we don't believe it is appropriate to have our DIY customers taking apart the cartridge to clean every component. We have found that for general office use, there is no difference in quality. Using this procedure, we've refilled cartridges 5-6 times without issues.

  • I can't tell where the excess toner compartment is from the video.

  • @BAMAMARV 1:03, the label is visible in the image which should help you locate the hole

  • @InkOwldotcom --- DUHHH! I'm sorry, I see it now. :-)

  • We need doors on catridges, fucking HP, Canon...

  • @vnTruthChannel We strongly recommend Brother laser printers. Their cartridges have easy-to-remove caps for refilling and no chips.

  • Is there a way to do it with out making a hole in it?

  • @TheFlavMan Yes, it always possible to completely dissassemble and then reassemble the cartridge (remanufacturing). Instructions can be found online to help you do this. However, this is much more difficult and time consuming than the procedure shown in the video.

  • It keeps leaking :(

  • @ac5a7bu I'm assuming it's your fill hole that's leaking. If so, the cartridge was probably not well sealed. You should clean the area around the fill hole with a dry paper towel before applying tape to assure a good seal.

  • @InkOwldotcom But its coming from the sides, when I tap it powder flies out, and where is the excess toner hole? on canon 104

  • @ac5a7bu It's definitely not normal for toner to be leaking from the sides of the cartridge since no holes are pierced there. Obviously, something's gone wrong. I recommend getting in touch with InkOwl's customer support whether you are a customer or not. Their very friendly staff will be happy to assist you.

  • Do you know if the Canon X25 has a waste section?

  • @thingsdemystified Yes, the X25 has an excess toner that has to be emptied to prolong the life of the cartridge. Unfortunately, we don't have a video out yet for your model. However, feel free to contact InkOwl's customer support for a copy of the PDF instructions.

  • do i need to reset the chip?

  • @temperlocsta You do not need to reset the chip.

  • this was almost really helpful, but where are the fill/refill compartments?

  • @gadgetronica The fill compartment can be seen at 0:27

  • thanks mate. i refiled my first toner .. !!!..!!!
