A book rack isn't an invention; its been used almost everywhere - maybe Delicious introduced to us first but that's about it.
Here we are talking about an app that has been copied from start to finish. Wouldn't you have a problem if someone copied all your work and starts selling it at a cheaper rate in the market?
Seriously, there are many occasions you can bash Apple and call them Evil but get off the bitchwagon and start to think rationally.
@dethmaShine Yeah, it just looks so clunky on an unpowered device.. the person in the video is trying very hard to sloooooooooooooowly turn the page so the animations can catch up. The page turn stuff debuted when the iPad was first launched, just pay Steve the money because you like his design and move on.
@simonwhitty You can't read books in DL. The only thing they "stole" was the shelf design, which was already a common theme in many jailbroken iPhone themes/wallpapers and Mac GUI customization.
@simonwhitty You know what it's fair, and if it came to that, Apple would likely just buy him outright, to end all the annoying legal issues. But I don't think he's complaining. *shrug*
It reminds me alot of the 'Classics' iPhone app, but I guess that copied from Shipley also.
How are you meant to read something on that with so much fucking glare?

Looks like the Aldiko interface I've been using since six months before iBooks was even announced.

Samsung is the copycat company. Before Apple they copied Nokia. Nokia down -> new victim needed.

When is Wil Shipley suing Apple for ripping of Delicious Library?

@dethmaShine granted. But explain the Beach Ball loading icon. Why steal the loading icon? There are a billion ways to do it.

It's more arguable that they stole from Classics.
