I was lucky to have caught Mr Rollins' concert in Seoul last May. Stellar. Sonny was on fire and the band was grooving. Got to meet the band backstage, but Sonny himself was apparently tired and not receiving non-special guests. Too bad, but the show was outstanding just the same.
I'm searching for the lost chord!

The real question is...who's making Sonny's sunglasses? They are the hippest! Can't find them!

It's refreshing and quite a relief to see a TRUE SAXOPHONE COLOSSUS STILL ALIVE with so many legends gone. Fuckin awesome!

What a Ledge! Straight, no chaser.
Loved Sonny's closing words, "......stay well, be happy, be kind, be good, be right, be just, be cool." ; that's the real deal folks.
Thanks for this video post.

Jazz is really something else. There's a lot more to it than you think growing up.

Sonny is the Saxophone Colossus, period.
He is one of the most down to earth, humble people I have ever met.
I love ya Sonny.
