i think that none of us should judge anyone who wants to spread gods word...pray that the lord gives you discernment to see past those things and listen to his word...the person in front of you is just a vessel

I think we have to be careful that we do not distract from the message of Christ. This is especially true for Pastors and those that are leaders in the church. Tattoos and rings, etc, I don't necessarily see as bad, in and of themselves, but if they distract people from what you are saying, that needs to be considered. God bless
I take my children to church each Sunday (but of course they are very young). When they are older I will still take them to church, because my parents took me. I will encourage them to serve God, because I don't see another way. If it's what I believe to be the way, then I'd feel as if I weren't doing my job as their parent if I didn't teach or encourage them. I don't feel I'd have to "force" it upon them because my husband and I started so young with them and they love going now.

Wow, great questions. Just yesterday I was studying I Cor chpt 8 and I think all of these topics kind of relate to this chptr. From my understanding we have christian liberty concerning these type things. They arent sins in & of themselves. BUT, exercising our freedoms in these things can cause a weaker brother or sister to stumble, which I think a lot of what you asked about can do that. Some people may not be convicted by going to the club but a baby christian may see that and their conscienc
I'm thinkin pretty much what you're thinkin. The only exception is the tattoos . Maybe they got them before they were saved. It's pretty expensive to get them removed. I also wanted to add that the unsaved do have a standard they expect the Christian to live up to. Believe me it's pretty much the same high standard you teach. When I was still in the work place I heard plenty of criticism toward any Christian that wasn't walking the walk.

(U have to ask yourself is this person driven by God or by Man.) Keep Your eyes on God. LOLOLOL SAVED AND GOING TO THE CLUB!...yeah i shouldn't judge cause I got to get rid of my secular music, but the club is a little too much for me, and I don't like profanity and vuglar messages. I just can't handle it, I don't see how "saved" people could... and I thought I was bad off listening to Whitney Houston lol.....
