I notice how you conveniently gloss over the walk-off walk in the bottom of the 9th. Ump was too big of a pussy to call it, but it was clearly a ball. Ball 3 was close, but the next one was CLEARLY a ball.

@justing510 I agree that that call was wrong. I also figure it was a make-up call, as the pitch before was a clear strike. And I didn't gloss over it, I left it out because I'm an Arkansas fan and the point of the video was the great heart these guys showed in the most exciting baseball game I have ever seen. If you are a Virginia fan, I thank your team for the incredible memory, and just be honored that your team was in such a game, even if they came up short. Some games have no losers.

Once Eibner hit that homer, you just knew we would win, no matter how long it took. It made our players believe and made the Virginia players shellshocked.

Arkansas baseball that season is the reason I became interested in the Razorbacks. But this game is the reason I'm now a fanatic fan. I remember that hot, summer night and watching this game at 11 o' clock. I was about to fall asleep and whaddya know, Brett Eibner tied the game. Two innings later and I just couldn't handle the stress of nobody scoring and went to bed. I checked the result the first thing next morning...and I was elated to see that Arkansas finally pulled it through in 12 innings

Honestly, Arkansas put the ball in play a lot more then Virginia, they were just hitting it right at the Cav players. Getting a couple runs was inevitable with their power.

I love how the announcers were basically getting ready to leave...then all of a sudden Eibner absolute SMASHES that ball. When I saw how much emotion Keuchel was playing with, I knew the Hogs were going to pull it out. You could just feel the vibe from the team. The swagger was back.
