For protecting the American people against attack the US military is absolutely useless. 911 and Pearl Harbor, the only two times the US were attacked on their own soil, the military was standing by, watching and doing shit to PREVENT the attack. The US army is only useful for bullying, retaliation, invading other countries and illegal regime change after being defenceless against an attack, not for home defence and protecting Americans.

Pearl Harbor. it was a surprise attack, also A LOT of the crew members relaxing because a few days before one of the carriers won a volley-ball tournament and were in their ship sleeping.
